Mr. Joe Trsar, Principal

Mr. Trsar joined District 146 as the Principal of Memorial in 2019. He has a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and German, a Master of Arts in Education and Teaching Certification, and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership. He is currently earning his Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership.

Mr. Trsar focuses on the critical relationships that allow Memorial staff to support and ultimately help all students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. He strives to make every student, family, and staff member feel valued, appreciated, and part of the Eagle Community.
 
He is married to his wife, Rebecca, who is also an educator who understands Mr. Trsar’s passion and love for being a principal of an elementary school. They live in Frankfort with their two children, William and Eloise. He enjoys traveling, studying foreign languages, reading with his kids, and swimming.
