Principal's Office

Julie Russell has dedicated 30 years to education, with the last 25 at Memorial School. Mrs. Russell’s experience includes classroom teaching, math intervention, and acting principal duties. She consistently provides essential support to students and staff at all grade levels. 
 
Throughout her career, Mrs. Russell has demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering a positive, student-centered learning environment, prioritizing high expectations, strong relationships, and continuous growth. She looks forward to continuing and enhancing Memorial’s culture, ensuring that all students, staff, and families feel valued, supported, and connected.
 
Mrs. Russell holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a master’s degree in Education Administration. She lives in Palos Park with her husband and enjoys traveling with her family (including her three grown children who live out of state), floating in her pool with a good book, watching sports, and puzzling.
